Well, that's good to know, I'll give it a try. Thanks :)
Man I wish the scabbard mod was compatible with the Stuff that makes Geralt's life easier.
Savegame cleanup utility has been added.
I usually like to play vanilla; since I'm near the end of Chapter IV on this second playthrough I probably won't be using any mods any time soon, but that savegame cleanup utility seems great! So thanks a lot!

Ahh...this is a godsend for me! Every time I start up the game, I had to spend a lot of time deleting the older auto-saves. (Being a RPG player, I auto-save a LOT) Thank you!
Is FCR compatible with other mods? Specifically Perfect Blood?

No known issues unless noted, I believe. If you encounter any, they should be easy enough to uninstall.
I downloaded and installed The Witcher Texturen Mod
When I load up my save game all the trees are glitched. I did some searches for this and all the links I found lead me to the witcher forums, which are down right now. I was hoping someone would have an idea on how to fix this issue.

chautemoc: Flash mod can be uninstalled through Control Panel, however you can lower the difficulty in-game using potions.
I've thrown in FCR while I was just starting chapter two. I love what the mod does, but that damn cockatrice was nigh impossible to take down.

Do you have any clue to which merchant in Vizima sells those difficulty potions? I know it was Abigail in Chapter 1, but can't find anyone in Ch 2 selling them.

I was playing on normal before modding it and now the difficulty is ridiculous.
Thanks for this, a commendable list indeed.

I really enjoy the texture enhancements.

if someone is aware or one for the actual ground surface renders, that would be the icing on the cake, so to speak.

I've noticed some clipping issues with the scabbard for the Silver Sword other than while drawing and resheating, (mentiioned in the mod description). While moving around the lower portion of the Silver sword becomes visible.

In all fairness though the mod author mentions that it may not work as intended with patch 1.4 and above.

Will this be updated at sometime?

Cheers, and thanks once again.

The scabbard mod? No, he's said it's an unavoidable issue as the editor doesn't allow access to something like 95% of the code.

No worries, I must have overlooked that particular comment reading his notes.

Thanks for getting back to me.
Is there any editor that can actually reset or change a quest status?

Sorry for not getting back sooner, but no, I can't recall where they're sold..you could try searching the official forums through Google and checking out cached links for info.

Hero_Swe: Man I wish the scabbard mod was compatible with the Stuff that makes Geralt's life easier.
Most of the mods that add things to Geralt aren't compatible with one another on the surface, but with a little fiddling, you CAN use them both.

There are several mods that use the def_arealoaded.ncs script; here's how to make them work together, even though they'd normally conflict.

Put ONE of the mods --not the Wolf Companion mod, one of the other ones -- in your Override folder, start the game, and wait until Geralt has been given the item(s). Then save and exit the game and add the files for the second mod to the same folder as the first. The files for the new mod have to be in the same folder, because you'll need to let custom_script for the second mod overwrite the first one in your Override folder. This is okay because you already have the item(s) from the first mod, and it's a different script that adds functionality to the items; all custom_script does is give the items to Geralt. Start your game up again, wait a few seconds, and you should get the second item(s) added. Keep doing this until you have everything you want -- J_Slash's "stuff," my stop-the-rain scroll, whatever you want.

IF you're using the Wolf Companion Mod (I realize that the original poster wasn't, but as long as I'm explaining how to make multiple mods that use the def_arealoaded.ncs script work together, I might as well throw that in), once you have everything you want except for the Wolf Companion mod, THEN add the Wolf Companion mod to the same folder; the custom_script for that will overwrite the other one, but that's okay, because Geralt already has his stuff. Since the wolf gets "added" frequently, he needs to have the custom_script in the Override folder all the time, whereas most items are only added once, so the custom_script for those items can be dispensed with once Geralt has the "stuff" items, the stop-the-rain scroll, and so forth.

Robin Scott has added a Witcher 1 section to his WitcherNexus modding site; you can download my stuff there.

Yes! There's a Saved Game editor for The Witcher, and it allows players to do many things, including changing quests.

The Witcher Vault has it, here: http://witchervault.ign.com/View.php?view=ToolsandUtilities.Detail&id=3

Alchemists sell them; in Chapter 2, that's probably Kalkstein.
