Doom972: I recently got a very cheap tablet so that I can play my GOG games on it while on the go.

So far, it works great, but while TW1 is playable, I get very low framerates at outdoor areas, such as the Swamp near Vizima. I'd like to know if there are ways to improve performance, like completely disabling shadows. I'm currently playing on the lowest settings with a resolution of 1024x600.

I also noticed that I get a significant performance boost after resting, which seems to persist until I close the game.

Any help with increasing performance would be appreciated.

Intel Atom Z3735G (quad-core 1.83 GHz)
1GB RAM
Unspecified Intel HD Graphics.

Doom972: It's a Win10 tablet with an x64 CPU, rather than an ARM CPU most tablets and smartphones have. It's essentially a small PC with a touchscreen. I used a wireless gamepad and a keymapping program to make it function like a keyboard and mouse and it worked well enough most of the time.

Nemesis44UK: I'm sorry I can't offer much advice, but it is a very cool thing, in my opinion.

One thing has just sprung to mind though, in power settings, see if you can change it from the default setting to maximum performance. Oftentimes, they throttle down GPU settings to save power.
