I got it through steam and started playing this past weekend already many hours in that game. Cant play anything else atm. Amazing.

Make sure you talk to everyone, even if they look like generic, no-name NPCs.

I'm currently about to beat it for the first time (despite owning it almost since its release and despite having approached it a dozen times), am loving it and hope you are / will be more determined to beat it than I was in the past. :D

My first time downloading it, it wouldn't play. Kept giving me an error message saying that d3d... is missing from my computer. I tried fixing reinstalling it and even googled any trouble shooting techniques but to no avail :-( I'm still trying to find a solution to this

If you have the vga driver installed, try to install directx 9c...

As mentioned, install DirectX 9c.
