Just so folks know, the very first time you have to do this, the "I'll rest and prepare" option is the icon when chatting to that fat guy, the icon, click the damn icon.
Don't think there's only 1 things to do in that dialogue. Don't think that because you only see 1 sentence, with 1. next to it, that you should just press 1 to continue. Oh no. It's the *ICON* in the *TEXT BASED DIALOGUE BOX*.
Just spent about 20 mins on this. Thought it was a class A bug. Turns out it's just class Z UI design.
This game does not age well at all (seems very rough even for back when it came out too).
