I'm running a modded playthrough of The Witcher Enhanced Edition. Not using any mods I've never used before. In fact, I stripped a couple out I didn't want anymore.

I'm having an issue I've never seen before. The Chapter 1 Dwarven Blacksmith just outside the Inn, as well as Leuvaarden inside the inn, are... invisible. If I use ALT, I can see their nametag. If I walk up to them, I collide with thin air, and am forced to walk around them. I can even hear them doing their csaual voice lines.

But I cannot interact with them in any way. Anyone ever seen this before and know the fix?

I've uninstalled all my mods, and the game does miraculously still load (FCR is my centerpiece), but they're still missing. It looks like I'd have to start over, and honestly, I'm nearly done with Chapter 1. The idea of doing it all again... Ugh....

You tried verify/repair the game?
Yes.

It didn't work at first, and I know why now.

I have an SSD and an archive HDD. I move games I'm currently playing to the SSD, as I've done with TWEE. GOG Galaxy was "verifying" the HDD backup. *facepalm*

Also, I was renaming my Override directory to "OverrideBackup", and apparently it was *still* loading mods, because I suddenly realized, the Witcher Inferno UI mod was *still* loading, despite there no longer being a proper Override directory.

I removed the Override directory completely, re-verifiied the proper version of the game, and the problem went away.

I reinstalled my mods piecemeal, cutting out some texture mods I didn't care for, and so far, everythign seems to be working okay.
