I have a laptop that has the Nvidia 9200m gs integrated graphics processor. I know it's not that great of a card but it can run current games like Left 4 Dead 2 and Team Fortress 2 just fine if I adjust the settings. I was wondering if it would be able to handle the graphics present in this game and have a decent fps of at least 30 for most of the game.

Let me know what you think as I really want to play this game but don't want to drop $10 on a game I can't play at the moment.

Thanks.
Try the demo :)

I think it would be playable.

It should be fine on Low settings. The game might preselect Medium for you, but you might not like the frame rate when you're in group combat.
I just gave the demo a try and it's been playing fairly well on low settings. Some of the cutscenes were a bit choppy and there were some slight hitchups but is it safe to assume that the EE version runs much slicker than the original?
The EE version is better optimized, yes. However, be careful when in any scene where there is a lot of fire. That can slow you down. And the Trade Quarter in chap 3 can also be a real bear.

Trade quarter is indeed heavy. I think it's cpu related or perhaps just the game. Slows down even in a comp which can play witcher 2. But when not measuring fps or anything. It's playable. And game this good, a little slowdown doesn't really matter. But it sure would if it would go like 4 frames per second. Well.. 101 people walking around and one juggler. and i think all cast a shadow. =)

Not sure if it still is, but Act V can be a bitch on a lower video card. Everything on fire, the game used to stutter like mad for me.
I think I'll give it a try. Not to worried about losing money because it's only $10 and based on the demo, the soundtrack sounds like it is worth that much alone.
I don't want to start another similiar topic so... Is there a mod or fix that can remove the uneeded ppl from trade quarter? This damn location is killing my PC! Actually at night is playable (15fps or so) but at day i have something like 1fps lol.
It's been awhile since I posted on here but I've reached a frustrating part. I've made it up to Act IV and when it comes to the battle with Dagon, my fps drops majorly and I just get slaughtered. Is there a better way to eliminate the self-healing guys and a good place to stand so that I don't actually click on Dagon when he's behind me?

I had really no trouble with chapter V. There was alot happening at times and game crashed couple times (4) but really not much else proplems. Was faster than tradequarter.

What graphics settings are you using? Maybe it's worth turning them down a bit just for that fight so you can get better FPS. Then you can raise them again afterwards.

I personally did not get any slowdowns in that battle, so I'm not sure what the culprit could be, but my best guess is that lighting, shadow and water settings will give you the best performance increase (especially since there's a lot of water around for that fight).

Same here, I have a machine that beat anything from 2007 (a 18 mo old Asus G73 laptop with a Mobility 5870 card), and if the game plays nicely at max settings usually, the Hellhound fight is unwinnable for me because of choppines and unresponsive controls.. I suppose fire is the culprit ...lowering settings helps a little but it's never smooth.
To be perfectly honest, I've got all my settings set at butchered. I can't go any lower... Do you know if I can run out of the temple during the Dagon fight so that the water doesn't drag down my frames per second?
Argh, that fight was awful for me too. One trick you can use if you have to is pause the game (spacebar, I think) between every swing of the sword. This will give you time to make sure you click on the right enemy :-/
