Afraid it won't help you now but it might help some people in the future;

I ran into a similar problem, it seems to have fixed itself when I closed and re-opened the downloader. Now simply closing it won't exit it, it will just minimise and continue in the background, to truly get it to close, you have to right click on its icon under the show hidden icon area, in the bottom right of the desktop and click exit.

I'm having the same problem. It first froze at 3990. Then -- after rebooting my computer -- I got it to 4139, and now it's stuck there and won't change, even with a reboot. Wish someone at GOG would address this.

Same problem here. It's stuck on 8.36 of 8.40 GB and nothing more happens. There is still 15 GB available on the disk, so that's not an issue.

It has downloaded 6645 KB of the ...bin.58 file and 2480 KB of the .....exe.0 file. Nothing more happens.

Had hoped to play the game this evening :(((

Hmmm, I'm having the same issue. My download would periodically drop to 0 kb/s, i would exit and restart the downloader and it seemed to get it going again, but then once the download was almost completely done it stopped again, this time when i exited the downloader i was unable to reopen it. I assumed maybe it had just finished on its own, i had to do a search on my hardrive for the files though as no icon or anything had been created, when i launched the setup from those files it told me the files were currupted and i need to redownload. So i thought maybe i'd just download all the seperate pieces and forego the GOG downloader but just downloading the very first part immeditelly gives me an error message saying the files are currupted!!

Same problem here.It stuck at 8.32/8.4.
Can someone tell us what to do?

I got it down by properly exiting the GOG downloader and re-opening it again, but maybe it was luck.

In my case a few files were incompletely downloaded, so maybe that was why it was stuck. Think it was files 60-62 of the bin3 files. When I opened the downloader again it downloaded new versions of these files, and started merging the lot.
