i recently download the game, but cant be played because an dll error, particulary d3dx9_35.dll

These .dll files cause endless problems.

Microsoft recommend re-installing DirectX9. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_other-gaming/missing-d3dx935dll-for-the-game-witcher/7fad1791-5896-4113-910b-bc1aa57a6d31

Another step might be to install the dll directly. I'm a little sceptable about this because I can't be sure the source is trustworthy.

Windows10 forums are generally trustworthy and should have a link tho this dll. https://www.tenforums.com/

Beebing computer is also good, if they have it. https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/

MajorGeeks is the first goto place for most things PC but for dll files they tend to shy clear. They may have some advice though. Majorgeeks.com
