Managed to get as far as Black Tern Island but when I try to load game it just crashes. Let me start a new game but crashed again when I tried to save and I'd rather not start again from the beginning! I have tried reinstalling and deleted all but
6 save files but that has made no difference

What operating system are you on, and where is the game installed?
Do you use OneDrive?
If you want to upload one of your saved games to Dropbox or somewhere, I could try it and see if there is a problem with your save.
