I'm hoping someone here might have some insight, I can't complete Vizima Confidential, I found Raymond's body before doing the autopsy. Now that I'm trying to meet with him to complete it, he says he wants me to pay him, but my only options are to talk to him later or rest. Any ideas on how to fix this one or bypass it? I'm only replaying the game to try and get a new save with Ada alive as my old ones were wiped when my computer suddenly died.

Even if you found the body you could still do the autopsy with Shani, maybe that could move your quest.

How? There's no option or quest to do the autopsy.

Have you tried talking to Shani? You can't move the autopsy forward until you do that.

Forget the autopsy. You find Raymond's body, and the autopsy is completely removed from the equation. What should happen next is "Raymond" should tell you to go kill Ramsmeat and you can lie to him about it. Try talking to Ramsmeat or leaving the area and returning to Raymond's house.

What is the most current update to Vizima Confidential in your journal? Has the "What Lies Beneath" quest updated? It should update when you figure out Raymond is a fake.

I'll try talking to Ramsmeat, What Lies Beneath is complete. My journal says to talk to Raymond, and when I initially go in he says he needs 200 Orens (I have 800+) but there is no option to pay him, just talk to him later or rest and prepare.

There is a bug where you can break this quest if you don't go see Raymond after the little boy finds you on the street and tells you to go see Raymond, and then you find the body in the crypt.
