I almost picked up the game on a Steam sale, but decided to play the demo first.

Apparently the game does not like my system. The sound is completely screwed up in the cutscenes, and unless they are skipped the game crashes to desktop after every single cutscene.

Obviously my system is in the minority, but yours might be too - so play the demo first!

This issue, jointly with the DRM (possibly caused by DRM), has kept me from purchasing the game thus far. It would be great to hear whether the issue is resolved in the GOG version.

this game crashes rather often on my W7 pc and i have the gog version. Im only at chapter 2 prob midway and its been crashing 5-6 times in this period alone. Its really annoying to play a game thats quite hard and having to fear it crashing all the time and constantly focus on ur save button after long dialogue and puzzles
