When trying to look at the note/schedule in the character's inventory, it only flashes on the screen for a moment. This is the only item in the inventory that you're actually supposed to be shown when you look at it (at least so far), so I'm not sure if this is the only item it influences, but I had to use a walkthrough because of this bug.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm having the same problem. According to a post on steam, this problem is fixed in the next version, 3.2.0419, (the post was dated on April 10), but that version doesn't seem to be available on gog yet. I don't know why. How did you get around this? I'm trying to visit Shana but I can't see my chore list.

I have the same issue. My understanding was that the latest update introduced some bugs, including this one. There's also the audio issue where dialogues overlap eachother. Someone on that topic said he contacted the devs but he was basically told to suck it up. Shame!

I have the same issue. This note needs to be read to continue with the game. Help!!

I had to use a walkthrough to get through the first chapter. I don't think these issues will be fixed any time soon, if ever, so my suggestion to you is to do the same if you get stuck.

Steam version has patch 419:

The Whispered World Special Edition – Changelog Version 3.2.0419
Fixed: Continue button in menus not being active when expected
Fixed: Ben's chores note disappearing shortly after looking at it

This probles solved in steam 6 april 2017. Gog was disappointed
