As soon as i start the game, my character is automatically turning left. Alt Tabbing seems to fix it till it loads a new level.

Do you have a controller connected?

I have a slightly related issue - when I start level after cutscene I get a windows mouse cursor and looking doesn't work and clicking will minimise the game. I have to toggle full screen to windowed and back to fix.

I don't currently know a solution but will post one if I stumble across one.
