I recently bought the TWD series bundle. Finished playing TWD season 1 + 400 Days and naturally I want to continue the story into TWD2.

Immediately I got several problems:

Problem #1: The game's menus are in Portuguese. Admittedly, my OS region settings were configured to Portuguese (as that is my native language) but after uninstalling the game, setting everything to English, it's still in Portuguese. I want it in English and there's no in-game language settings. Is there some way I can change the game to English?

Problem #2: In an attempt to ignore the first problem, I simply decided to start the game. Unfortunately, the game does not detect TWD1 save data to carry over. This is unacceptable.

At this point I realized I'd been downloading the games using Galaxy, so I opened the store page for TWD2 on my browser to see if I could download the installer. I'm downloading it right now, so I don't know if this will fix anything, but I'm going to assume it won't. So in the meantime, I'd like to fix the above two problems with my current installation of the game.

EDIT: I've solved problem 2. Would still every much like to change the menus and subtitles to English.

Yeah, changing the folder name fixed it, thank you. But the language is still wrong. Really don't want the menus and subtitles in PT.

Okay so two different ways you can try and I got the info from TellTale website-

1st download the installer directly from the GOG website and then choose the language if it gives you that chose upon installing.
2nd and this is recommendation from TellTale staff is to change the language of the OS to English. The game apparently detects what language your OS is and sets it to that while Galaxy changes the subtitles if their program is set to another language.....

Additional note: You don't actually have to change the language of your entire OS; following the instructions in this post, I managed to get menus in English. I presume that would work with any language/country setting. (Unfortunately the path itself is in German in that post and I don't know Windows specific terms well but hopefully you can figure it out.)

Damn nearly forgot about this thread, been so busy, sorry for the delay and thanks for the replies. I'm at work at the moment so I'll have to try that later when I get home.

Oddly enough, my OS [region] isn't configured to Portuguese, only the keyboard is. It should be noted the installer doesn't let me choose the language.
