I'm at the point where I need to suture Clementine's dog bite and I'm stuck. I click on the dot to "prepare to suture", and I get the flashing brackets. I hold the left mouse button down and I briefly get a cursor, which disappears when the action arrow appears pointing to the right. But then no matter what I do, I can't suture the wound. Moving the mouse to the right does nothing, and from what I understand that's what I'm supposed to do. I have also tried using arrow keys or the right movement key (d), and nothing works.

Is this a bug in the game? Am I doing something wrong? Has anybody else encountered this? Any help is appreciated. I can't go any further in the game until I perform this action.

If I remember correctly you had to press down the left mouse button and then move the arrow button (the thing with brackets) with your mouse to the direction of the arrow while still holding down the mouse button.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm doing, yet the brackets won't move when I move the mouse. They just sit there and poor Clementine keeps on whining in anticipation...

Then it sounds like some sort of glitch. Have you tried if just quitting and restarting the game or loading a bit earlier save makes it go away.

Telltale has rather good support forum and they have helped me when I have had problems with their games.

I spent some time combing through Telltale's forums last night and was just about to contact support when I decided to try the game one more time. And thankfully, the action worked without a problem. Not sure why it worked this time and not any of the other 10 or so times I exited and restarted the game, but I'm not complaining!
