We'd like to inform you that The Walking Dead game series will be delisted from our catalog, effective immediately, due to publisher request. The process may take some time.

Everyone who owns the games prior to delisting will still be able to access them through their GOG Library.

Right now we have no information about the future on The Walking Dead: The Final Season, but we will keep you up to date if we receive any news.

It will be back. It was just taken down till legal ownership of the series finally changes hands to Skybound. Once the legal matters are all taken care of they plan to put the series back up for sale again. ASAP

As for The Final Season it has started development again with the game's original team coming back to finish episode 3 & 4. No release dates where announced as of now, but they do intent to release that information soon. As for those that already paid for season 4 Skybound noted that anyone that already owns season 4, no matter where they got the game from, will get the episodes when they are released. Nice that it's the original development team from Telltale. Let's just hope that Skybound are better employers who at least compensate them for their crunch time.

Except now the latest news is it won't be coming back to GOG, at least not for new potential consumers who didn't get the game to begin with.

It's exclusive to the Epic Store, though people who've bought it on Steam and GOG beforehand will still get the final updates. No word on if it'll be exclusive permanently or what.

Kind of bleh.

Question : When will eipsode 3 be available on the gog version ? This episode should be out now.

Library shows an update from today (152.8.102.123 (52:13). So I guess it's the new episode. Can't be completely sure though, because there's no changelog yet.

Can confirm. It is indeed Ep. 3. Another interesting thing is that they've added a link to purchase Wolf Among Us, Game of Thrones, and Batman; which leads me to believe that perhaps Skybound has acquired these properties as well? Anybody know anything about this?

Episode 3 is already available for all users that have The Walking Dead: The Final Season in their GOG library :)

is it possible to purchase season 3 and 4? i only have season 1, 2 and "a new frontier" and michonne miniseries.
and i'm also missing 400 days which i thought it was part of season one but obviously it doesn't seem so...

Well, if you have A New Frontier then you already got the third season. Season 4 is currently exclusive to the Epic store.

I managed to get the other seasons in my GOG library. But is there no hope for me to buy the final season here now, or ever?

I'm growing more desperate by the day... Please please Skybound do the right thing and return this series to us.

It is now back on Steam, why not on GOG? What can be the incentive for a publisher not to sell on a platform where people want to buy? I've bought all the other telltale games on GOG, and I'm not the only one. So we are serious buyers. It feels insulting not to be sold to anymore.
