shylock.596: Why would GOG port it to Linux ? That isn't their reponsibility. This is the issue here, THERE ALREADY IS A LINUX PORT IN EXISTENCE and the blame lies with Croteam for not wanting to submit it to GOG to have it for sale. GOG has zero blame here, they can't force the publisher to give them something if they don't want to.
cycloidemperor: Right I made a mistake saying Gog should port it, that's not their job, you are right. But I'm still wondering whose fault is it that so many games on Gog have no linux release, only windows, though the linux version exists elsewhere? Take tower57, cat lady, qube or limbo for example.
I certainly won't answer this question.
But I will counter it with:
How does it speak of GOG if they not care about Linux to the point of removing any mention of "we will work on it eventually" on all Galaxy pages in reagards to Linux native client?
It's not like I particularly care about using Galaxy in general. And considering it's probably closed code I would not want to use it.
But imo it speaks volumes about GOG's attitude.
There's certainly a very noticable discrepancy in attitude of GOG's in regards to different platforms.
