Heard the game will be going away on the 1st of next month.Hopefully it can lead to something since idk the reason for this take down other than they might do a remaster or something. but maybe im crazy. everyone should get this game
If that is the case because of a remaster is coming for both games, At least you can still get the first game as its still free to download.

WB HATES old IP's. It's likely to be taken down for good. Surprised they even put them up here in the first place.
A month or so back there was some rumours going around that Warner Bros. Discover was looking into selling off low priority ips to shave off debt. I wouldn't be surprised if they started doing that for their games division and this was one of the first signs.
Hopefully we can get a sale before they are removed.

That won't recoup their losses:

its on sale now so get it. plus its GOG. like steam you can still redownload it. but here on GOG you can also
download the install file itself and back that up on the cloud , usb or where ever. So.

Years from now . or if GOG is gone you TRULY own the game unlike steam.
Usually its due to license. However I dont know what this game licenses.
Or could be because of a future remaster. But I never understood why older games get delisted due to remasters.

Its strange because its not like you have to pay to keep a game on Steam or GOG.
By delisting a game you are losing money.

I don't get it too, Rockstar is another one that has done it too. They took down the older games and now people are stuck with the terrible "Definitive" versions

That is definitely due to the expiry of music licenses. Rockstar could likely pay for perpetual licenses, but they would cost a lot more at the time of the initial licensing than a limited-time deal.

That's just an example

there's plenty other games that have done it too.
