I installed the game. I installed all the redistributables. I installed Unreal Engine. But I get these messages. What did I do wrong?

Most likely the issue is caused by Windows not being properly up to date.

I had the same problem. For me, it was caused by 2015 C++ redistributable. It was taking so long without any apparent progress during galaxy install that I just canceled it, and after that the game refused to run. All redistributables are available in the game directory (__redist/*), I'd try to run them manually and let them work until they confirm it completed successfully (I had 9 months out of date computer at the time and was still able to get the game to run, after properly installing MSVC runtimes).

No, win7-64.

Edit: this was written as too confusing. I'm running on win7. The redistributables should work on every supported systems.
