After I installed Settlers 6 Gold 2.1.0.5 (GOG version) I tried to install the VIDEO MEMORY FIX but I got a message with "Patch already applied". The game still do the same. I can't chanege video options except resolution and screen goes dark when I try.

Yes, I have the same issue. "Patch already applied" message pops up, but no actual patch installed.

The reason is because the fix is already included in the latest installer. The patch is only for people who downloaded the old installer so they don't need to download the whole game again.

We've uploaded a video memory fix to your game shelf that fixes the "At least 70MB of available video memory required" error that would occur hen playing the game on video cards with more than 2 GB of video memory.
This update is available via GOG Galaxy and the offline installers have been updated with this fix as well.

I am sorry but the patch does not work. The same issues when trying to change video settings.

Can we please have a fix ?

Hi I Bought the Settlers 6 on gog today because in the reviews it was stated that the gog version had a patch that fixed the Graphics issue in this game. However I still can only play with the lowest of graphics and am unable to change the options in-game. Any help would be appreciated.

Same problem here. I'm having video issues.

Problem solved: Go to Nvidia Control Painel. Choose 3D configurations. Select Nvidia as the graphic processor.

Pretty sure the patch is applied. In galaxy anyway. The download is a Bkup.

I bought the disc as well and searched to get the problem as well and ended up on this site to resolve my problem.
And the first post I see is yours saying that there is a problem with the download here as well.
I would like to know if you got the problem sorted.
