So i want to configure my Video Settings.
I am starting the VideoSetup.exe in the Mainfolder and set everything to High and picked 1920x1080 as Resolution.
Now i start the Game and my Resolution is 800x600...

Now i was searching for the config file. It is in my Documents....
This file was never changed from the VideoSetup.exe (normal and as admin mode)
So VideoSetup.exe is not working as intendet, i think.

What are the maximum settings, i can configure in this File.
Mine looks now like, but i dont know if this is maximum graphics or not, i was just guessing:

DisplayProfile 2
ScreenWidth 1920
ScreenHeight 1080
TextureQuality 4
SliceQuality 3
ClipRange 4
ObjectQuality 3
RainDensity 75
Shadows 1
RefreshRate 60
PostProcessing 1
VSync 1

Some more detailed info about your system (OS, system language, restricted / admin account) would help. Also game language as well. If you changed the language AFTER changing video settings, you need to launch VideoSetup again - game keeps config and saves in different folders depending on active game language.

I have the same problem. Video Settings are only accepted if the game ist set to English. And there are multiple unnecessary directories for every language in my windows documents folder. If I change the game to English language, I can modify the video setup and the changes remain if I change to German, but for every new change I have to set the game to English or to edit the English ini manually.

Stell dein Spiel auf Englisch, ruf das Video Setup auf, mach alle Eingaben und stelle es dann wieder auf Deutsch. Derzeit berücksichtigt das Spiel nur die englische *.ini.

Yeah, so looking at the process it appears that the game reads ini from EN save folder regardless of locale but VideoSetup uses separate folders.

Looks like one of my fixes done half-way >.> I wanted to avoid game spamming my documents with localised folders but forgot about video setup doing the same.

Sorry about that, hopefully I'll have it fixed quickly.

Personally I would prefer a complete clean up-to-date build with your highly appreciated fix ... and please, don't change anything other ... especially in the German version, you know ... ;-)

Sure, if I want individual patches rather than teh most up-to-date installers. Mah OCD tingles if don't get those.

Just a shame a title like this needs a day one (or whatevs) patch :/

Apologies for the slight derail of this thread but, did anyone manage to work out what the 'maximum' settings were for each option?

On my machine (Windows 10, i3 6100, GTX 950, 16GB RAM) the VideoSetup.exe instantly crashes when I run it. I tried both with and without the patch.

The main game however starts up fine but defaults to 800x600. I edited the config file to 1920x1080 which works but it would be nice to know the range of options for the other values as I'm sure I could set them to maximum for this game.
