Is the editor available for the GoG version? I appreciate that it wouldn't be able to upload to the Steam Workshop but it would be good to have and create scenarios for playing yourself.

The editor is now available (in the latest 1.9.10 version of the game). It runs only on Windows.

You can start it from the Galaxy client by clicking the "More" button (next to the "Play" button) and then selecting "Other" / "World Editor". If you use the standalone installer, the executable is in the same folder as the game.

It's the same editor as which is included in the Steam version so it works exactly the same and any info (and the tutorial) applies just the same. (See "Help / Editor Help" in the editor.) Except of course there is no Steam integration or Workshop so those parts can be ignored.

For once, GOG has a more recent version of a game than Steam does.

Is there any way I can edit the save files location? I mean, it's not like I'm playing the game at work & I want to hide the save files in the game folder, or anything, it's just... well, you know... yeah.

The game always saves into the "Saved Games" folder.

But you can change it's location. :) Just right click it, select "Location" and you can move it. (This is a feature of Windows' "well known folders" of which "Saved Games" is one of.)

Thanks, I know that. But the folder itself is always in the same place, visible to anyone. It doesn't help with playing the game at work. WHICH I'M NOT DOING!

Ah, no problem. I just thought there could've been some hidden setting or maybe it would be possible to edit some file.
