Will the DLC be available on GOG? Or is it Steam exclusive?
If this fallow the usual delay , the dlc should be available on GoG, in 2 or 3 week ?

Yes, but on Steam it was promoted for couple of weeks, even at store page, while here the silence is so deep.
Also there was updated version number because of DLC, so it breaks cross platform coop playing, if not updated here as well..
Why is GOG being such a DOG about DLC's and updates? All my friends have the Steam version and they got their updates but if I want to play the DLC, I'll have to either wait a few weeks or wait for a friend to jump online with their Steam version and join onto them. This is utterly stupid. Right now as we speak, I bought and am downloading the Steam version of the Planet crafter AND its update with the DLC. I'm done with GOG

I just saw this on their Discord (Miju Games, the developpers) : "For now, we are still looking into if we are going to release the DLC on GoG or not."

How can they even consider to not release the DLC on GoG ? This is such a lack of respect of Miju Games for the people who bought their game on GoG.

This is making me seriously regret buying Planet Crafter. If they don't respect customers on GoG, then they don't deserve our business.
I too am waiting for a GoG release. It would be interesting to know the percentage of sales on GoG vs the percentage of sales on Steam. I prefer purchasing my games on GoG as then I own them vs Steam where I pay the same price but I rent them since Steam can remove them or my access at any time.

Since the game is already available with the last update & dlc for those who use piracy ...

There is no point to not release the dlc drm-free.

Seems like this game has been abandoned by the developers. I guess I'm going to have to pirate it if I want an update to a game I bought with my hard-earned money.

Yikes. Reading the Reddit posts, we probably dodged a bullet in not getting offered the DLC.

The DLC looks severely rushed. There's barely anything to find. Practically no lore, and the ending is even more disappointing than the original endings.
I sure hope that the DLC will be released here on GOG as I like to support the "underdogs", this means both GOG and the developers. If possible I hope to buy games here on GOG instead of Steam, but off course that is not always possible. But if possible andthe price is the same, GOG wins my money 95% of the time I think.

Regarding it being rushed, it may be, not seen it yet and can't saying anything pro and cons about it. But the developer have proven that they do not give up and they do work. So the DLC would most likely be patched and updated many times before it is more or less fully done. If true that an "alpha or perhaps beta" version is released too soom, that is a bit negative, they should mark is a beta or early version.
I hope (and expect) that the DLC will also be released on GOG. I'm patient, and I have no reason to believe that Miju is acting negligently or even maliciously, but it'd be really scummy if we remained excluded from the DLC. It's not good practice to bait people with a base game here and then to tell them to buy the game again, and the DLC on top, in another storefront.

i too expect it to arrive here eventually.
If its steam only, i will just not bother or sail the high seas.
I hate the steam client, i just want to click on my game and play.
I am confused about the half sized map of the dlc when just weeks ago they were saying the rover isnt really needed in prime but we have big plans for the next planet

It seems contradictory with their statement to want to put the DLC at a low price so as to make it available for everyone. I guess we'll see how it goes, one assumes they'll bring it to GoG eventually.
Hello everyone!

The Humble DLC is now available on GoG.

Sorry for the delay, releasing on multiple platforms as a small team can be a challenge. We added a special -15% discount for the release.

Take care and good terraforming!
