This game is made in Norway. There does exist a complete Norwegian dub, which was sold alongside the English one, in Norway.
Is there any chance you could release the Norwegian files as DLC or something?

While only GOG/funcom can actually answer availability for Norwegian DLC, it's been indicated that English is the only supported language right now for all games (even those that offer multi-language).

Supported doesn't have to mean not-provided. For me, at least, this game is at it's finest in the Norwegian dub, as the writing seems to sound far more natural when acted out in Norwegian than in English. Especially for characters like April or Raven. Those two in English just doesn't have the same impact.
... well, for Norwegians of course.
This might be possible to do by comparing files from the English and Norwegian versions and creating a patch containing only the files that differ. If you want to be really professional you might even use a tool similar to BinDiff, so you only package the portions of files that differ and not the whole files.
It should be fairly easy from a technical point of view, but it might be tricky legally - different regional versions of a game often have different publishers.

I'll make this a Scandinavian request by putting a wish in for the Swedish version. If GOG could publish that one I'd buy two copies. The voice acting is some of the best I've heard in any game, absolutely brilliant!
I bought the game hoping the international versions would be available as well. No dice, I guess. This must be the only time I've ever wanted a (non-English) localized version of a game - especially one in Swedish. I guess I'll have to live without it. :)
Ooh, the game's finished downloading...
As far as I'm aware the English voiceover is still the original.
Or atleast the one that came out first.
I know the game was written in english.
Ragnar Tornquist lived in New York for quite a few years.
I'm also looking for the Norwegian dub. If it should turn up, I'm buying this game asap.

actually it was released first in Norway with the norwegian voice acting.
at the time it was pretty awesome because it used several celebrities in its cast and the acting was very strong. its the only game i ever played in Norweigan and it had quite an impact on the atmosphere and characters.
it wasnt released in the US until a year later.

Correct. The Norwegian version was released first, but the script was written in English. I consider the English version the original and the Norwegian one a translation, but that may be a matter of personal opinion.
I'd love a norwegian patch or something :)
I was going to look for a Norwegian version myself, i hoped there was a option to at least change the language at the installer.
I hope i didnt waste my cash on a game i orginally wanted in its orginal language...
The version available at the official website is advertised as being "fully localized in German, English, French, Italian, Norwegian, Russian
and Swedish", whatever that means. I have no idea what kind of DRM (if any) is used on this version, but it might be worth a try if you are intent on getting a translated version. The price appears to be $10/£10/€10 depending on your region.

Sorry about gravedigging, just wondered if you have found a way to add/restore more languages to the game.

I bought it recently and enjoy it a lot. Now I want to gift it, but I need the norwegian language version..
