edfardos: I noticed a Microsoft Windows version is available! Absolutely useless to me, but it's better than "coming soon." For those of you who endure Microsoft products, please let us know how the game is!!

waiting on Linux release,

That's right. Actually, the Downloader replies in a few seconds that download is completed, but there is no file in the DL directory - apart from the booklet, avatars and wallpaper, of course.

I don't think it says anywhere on GOG, but steam is back to saying it'll unlock in approximately 2 hours.

It's available on Steam now....

I see a link here on GOG to the Windows-only installer, but it's dead.

From the Kickstarter page just now:

As for GOG.com, due to the unfortunate delays on our end, they will not be able to publish the game to their store today, but that will of course happen tomorrow morning. We apologise for this, but those last-minute bugs had to be fixed, and that put us severely off-schedule today.
If i were in Gog team, i"ll be pretty pissed off
Be delivered in last while trying to emerge with Galaxy and so on on the market
While it isn't a major issue, the fact that GOG is alway delivered could be a major issue on competitive multiplayer games.
better a fixed game with delay instead of broken game until patch.

I think that the issue here is that it's night in Poland and there's probably no one at the GOG office, while Steam and Humble are US based companies, so it's day there.

GOG has already experienced a couple of delayed titles. It simply happens; especially when its developer's first released game. Red Thread Games might be full of people who worked on The Longest Journey and Dreamfall however there is still a lot of new things they probably don't have that much experience:
a) multi-platform release;
b) 3 online distributors with different systems;
c) new engine and tools they work with.
Developers try hard to do things right. I wouldn't be surprised to see them creating a longer buffer period between going gold and uploading it to distributors' systems when Chapter 2 will be about to be done.

Exactly.
I already waited 8+ years for this... what's another day!!
Have they actually confirmed GOG keys for backers or is it Humble only for DRM-free?

I'd very much prefer GOG.

Yes, they confirmed it today.

See MasodikTiasma's post.
It's download time!!!! :)

If you're backer, all you have to do is to ask them to send you a key.

Now I have this game on my GOG, Steam and Humble libraries. I ended up downloading it from GOG instead of Steam, even when Steam got it earlier. I prefer GOG versions over Steam versions and there was little things called sleeping and working which prevented me from downloading it earlier from Steam.

Not impressed with the storyline. Great graphics, for the most part. This series topped off with the first "Longest Journey". The foul language is unnecessary, no matter what Ragnor says.
