kmja: how come this game dont have Norwegian language?????
the other games did have it but not this one here how come ????
It will, eventually. RTG just can't manage to squeeze it in the episodic schedule.

It would be rather strange if the game, being partially funded by a Norwegian state grant, would eventually NOT have Norwegian voiceover. It'll come, rest assured. ;)

Vainamoinen: The "slacker backer" campaign has ended - finally. So get those preorders done instead! ;)
Funny, how long it stayed open.

I actually became slacker backer, because you convinced me that there might be no pre-order phase. I really wanted to pre-order the game, so I went to developer's page to see if there's really no pre-orders and, to my surprise, I noticed that it was still possible to pledge.

It was first time I backed anything and it seems that nothing bad happened, so maybe I might back something bit earlier next time, now that I'm slightly less suspicious towards this whole pledging thing.

Ok, at that point in time and with the price tag you've probably chosen, there wasn't even much difference to buying. ;)

Nope, backing is spending money, then waiting two years reading enthusiastic reports about delays! ;)

Waiting is also part of the pre-ordering. Sometimes it's possible to pre-order video games or tabletop games very early, when the games are still in the early stages of the development cycle. This is especially true in the case of episodic games as they usually haven't even finished the first episode when it becomes possible to pre-order the entire season.

Biggest difference between early pre-orders and pledging is that with pre-orders you are entitled to refund, if the developers fail to release the final product.

I was hoping to download this today, but it seems it's taking a bit longer to come out than anticipated. We're nearly three quarters of the way through the 21st and the last quarter of the day I'm going to be out. Guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow before I get another chance to see if it's available for me. Looking forwards to playing this since I really loved the first 2 games.

It might not be released today. They are a lot of serious bugs.
At the moment, they are estimating a delay of only a few hours, but (unexpected last-minute) bug squashing is always unpredictable.
Ey guys,

Do you know where I can get news about the release? Still waiting....
For news you can go here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/redthread/dreamfall-chapters-the-longest-journey/posts (all kickstarter updates are public, except the ones about early access backers)

or at the official forums of course: http://redthreadgames.com/forum

If you are bored waiting, like me, take a look at the Steam-side of DF C, will be released in about 2 hours(looked at it at 21:00 in Germany) is under releaes date. Maybe it will be the same time for gog.com.
Thanks for the help :)
(pssst) on STEAM you'll have to wait approx. 2h more for release (pssst)^^

ps. there is also a wiki for Dreamfall Chapters: tlj.wikia.com/wiki/Dreamfall_Chapters

I noticed a Microsoft Windows version is available! Absolutely useless to me, but it's better than "coming soon." For those of you who endure Microsoft products, please let us know how the game is!!

waiting on Linux release,
