This update is from February 19th, a full month
older than the update that I posted. Plus, the information you are sighting is being misinterpreted due to poor sentence structure on RTG's part. The post you are referencing was made in regards to the delay of Book Two. Allow me to dissect their post a bit in order to enhance clarity. My edits will be enclosed in
[brackets] and important details will be shown in
bold.
It was the (lack of) testing and bug fixing that triggered our decision to delay release [of Book Two] a couple of weeks. Book Two is officially done, and [on an unrelated note] the team is working on Book Three, but we haven't been able to test it [meaning Book Two] thoroughly enough to be comfortable with releasing it just yet [meaning the original Book Two release date of February 24th]. With another two weeks of testing, bug fixing and polishing, we will be able to deliver a much more stable and enjoyable experience [for Book Two, which was released, sixteen days later, on March 12th].
We do anticipate a more rapid development process for Book Three, however, which is already well into production [but with no confirmed release date]. Books Four and Five will arrive later this year, concluding the story of Zoë Castillo, the Dreamer.
So, the Book that you were quoting would be released in "a couple of weeks" was actually Book Two. Book Three is not given a release window of any kind in this post, nor in the more recent March 19th update that I linked to previously. The information regarding Books Four and Five being released before the end of the year is the only vague release information that can actually be taken away from this.
Joseph1957: Ragnar Tørnquist and his team are not even sure of the release dates to any of the forth-coming books!
And yet you were just trying to prove that they were.
