Oh yes, of course, Faith. I had forgotten about her!

We have now learned that Zoë has been in a dream or an out-of-body state onwards since book two; when Queenie hinted to zoë about not being all here. However, The places/worlds and the people that Zoë has met, are real enough. If she is in an out-of-body state, then from what I know about the subject, others should not be able to see and touch her like a physical person (with the exception of Abnaxus and the Yaga maybe). How did Zoë get to restart her life again in Propast and not her home city: Casablanca? I would have thought she would have emerged in the hospital near her physical body, because it was from Storytime where Zoë projected her energy into her physical body.

The in-dream status is no different than it was during Zoë's journeys to Arcadia in Dreamfall: Of course people can see and touch her, just because she is a "Dreamer".

It's not entirely clear from where Zoë started her dream journey in Book 1. Her diary speaks of waking up in Casablanca and moving away from there; but I'd rather guess that was filler material her subconscious made up to explain what she was doing there. Maybe she wanted to bring herself to Propast because that's where the she was needed most, where the problems of the Europolean democracy were most evident.

Now that she's actually woken up, I guess we're in Casablanca again. But not for long.

The last scene where they show Zoë waking up, presumably in her bed at the hospital, looks a bit ominous. As the camera drew away from her it revealed what looked to be a one-way mirror! Is she really back at the hospital in Casablanca or is WatiCorp studying/experimenting with Zoë in the same way they did to Faith?

Each new game of the series raised more new questions than it answered old ones.
That makes me really worry about Book 5 of DFC. It would have to be huge to resolve all unanswered questions and fill all the plot "holes". I fear it will be disappointing in that respect.

They required Faith to be awake for their experiments, and she turned out to be a danger as soon as she died. So, if Zoë is in Wati's hands, I think what they want to do to her didn't yet happen.


I'm not sure that's entirely true. It's probably more that some questions are answered in enigmatic ways.

We have definite answers to a whole lot of questions right now: We know who our main villain is and looked into his history, we know that April is alive (in Saga, I guess), we have ruled out Crow as a culprit, we can mostly place and assess all the forces who have a hand in this play. We know who the traitors and who the loyal friends are. We have uncovered the Europolis conspiracy. We know who Anna is (mostly).

I'm aware that a lot of people don't really see that the story unfolds this way, and I guess they can never be satisfied with the ending.

Sure enough, we still haven't met a whole lot of important characters from Dreamfall, and that's where things actually lose a lot of potential for closure. Let's hope we're starting with Gabriel. And have that Reza mystery resolved.

There is still the mystery of what happened to the white lady in the Dark People's city (Dreamfall); was she killed and if so, by what or who?

As an example, where/when/who did we get to know this from? I never came across anything profoundly suggesting this.

The conversation with Abnaxus at the end of Book 4 confirms Aprl to be alive – happy moment for Crow.

Now, Abnaxus speaks of two Aprils alive even; but then again, Abnaxus has a special affliction that lets him see all things past and future, so he's probably speaking of one April in the past and one in the present.

Saga shows all the signs of being a reincarnation of April, especially in knowing her story when no one told her.

Now that we know "the wizard" to be the evil overlord, it's rumored that the White Dragon was in some way killed by Roper's biography "Farewell to my Wizarding Days", the supposedly exploding book that April herself brought over from Marcuria to the Dark People library.

I would never have known Roper Klacks was the one to indirectly kill the White Lady, this information was not apparent in the game. However, now that we know Roper Klacks is the "wizard", why was he arrested, is he not part of the same scheme in what the Azadi are doing?

IF Roper Klacks is indeed "the prophet", then he is in cahoots with Vamon and Sahya (and probably about to double cross them).

Of course, Vamon only knows him as "the prophet" in this case (and it's probably not even certain he ever met him, even in disguise, before). Vamon wouldn't have have wanted anything to do with a wizard, and he never would have wanted to arrest the prophet.

But I rather guess Roper's arrest matters little to him if he's as powerful a wizard as it seems.

We'll see! Soon, that is. :)

Roper Klacks said, he is now a reformed character to April Ryan (and grateful to her for this), when they met for the second time in Marcuria. However, in book four, Roper Klacks had nothing good to say about April Ryan when he spoke to Zoe at his puppet show and he was glad (all though not showing it) to hear about the death of April Ryan in his subterfuge way of talking. Roper Klack is certainly not reformed and he is hell-bent on getting his revenge I think.

The big question is WHAT Roper Klacks is. Following the present narrative, he's a thousand years old. Whether he really is that Necromancer of old, a reincarnation, a wizard possessed by the Necromancer, or corrupted by forces from the Starkian side of the Balance – I hope they're going into some detail concerning this.
