Hi

I bought TLJ recently and I'm stuck at the end of Chapter 2, the game asks me to insert the CD-ROM 2, if I say yes the game can not find anything and if I say no the game returns to the main menu.

I don't understand.

(I have not found a similar topic and sorry for my bad english ;-) )

Have you tried explicitly running the game as an administrator? (Right-click the game's shortcut and select Run as..)

Yes I launched the game as an administrator with the shortcut (Launch The Longest Journey) and Game.exe. This is the same result, the game ask me for CDROM 2.

Some people (another website) have the same problem and it often concerns recent purchases. But no solution. It's weird.

This is what GOG support suggests in this case:
Make sure that your Windows user account has Administrator privileges, and that User Account Control (UAC) is disabled in your operating system.
To do this, go to Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts and Family Safety -> User Accounts -> Change User Account Control settings. Move the slider to the lowest position ("Never notify") and click OK.
Afterwards, make sure to always launch the game with “Run as Administrator”.

If that doesn't help, contact Support. Susceptible games should all be patched against this kind of issue.

Launch the file "TLJRegFix.exe" in your game directory then click OK and OK again.
Your problem should be solved.
