Since they've aquired a great team of developers I'm very curious what they'll come with.

That's correct. Although Hinterland has removed it from the GOG store due to business reasons, they've stated that they'll keep updating the game here for people who've already bought it on Steam. I'm still very grateful they do this. :)

TLD Updates are generally about 9 days after the Steam release.

It's not as bad as it sounds. It gives Hinterland that time to fix all the bugs that always show up for Steam users (and this release has its share of them). Let them be the beta testers. LOL!

Ah, this actually make sense, at last.

I still think people overreacted on that : gog has actually apologized and corrected the error (unlike ,for example, the recent blizzard episode), and I do think that gog has more reasons to be supported, than to be boycotted... But c'est la vie.

Sadly, it seems to me that those inclined towards political correctness tend to be unforgiving.

But, for instance, VG27 is covering GOG news again since then so apparently they accepted the apologies. There's no turning back for Hinterland, though, it seems. Sadly :(
