1541: Originally it was not possible to start directly from episode 2 without first playing episode 1 through. This missing message should only appear if it were still only possible to play episode 3 after completing episodes 1 and 2 first. However, that limitation was lifted and this situation should not happen.
Yeah, I remembering hearing that awhile back and that's why I completed Episode 1 and 2 Winter Redux so I am even more confused.

Any suggestions?

I appreicate you effort to help. I did try that and it the message "Thank you for Playing." Maybe I'll try starting farther back. Thanks for the suggestion.

Did you wait until the episode 2 end texts finish? There should be two buttons on the bottom of the screen after those. One continues to episode 3, one exits to main menu.

Surprisingly, that was one of the test I tried and it just went back to the main menu. ugh.

Hmm weird. I haven't played the new version yet so I can't tell if it's something on your end or a reproducable bug.
I hope it's fixable though, sounds really annoying,

Could it be that you are still playing version 1.56 of the game? It does not include episode 3, it was released in version 1.60.

Since 1.62 is currently only available on Galaxy not as downloadable installer that seems like a possible thing to happen.

For those interested, the 1.56 to 1.61 update is now available to non-Galaxy users, as well as the 1.61 to 1.62 patch.
That should bring the game up to date for us non-Galaxy users. :-)

Thanks for sharing HawkDawg, downloading now.
I just noticed the game installers got bigger by more than 1.2GB. That's a lot of content. :D
