Does anyone know what prevents GOG from making version 1.022 available? The update was released by Arcen Games last Friday, and previous updates were offered to GOG customers more or less immediately.
It looks like there's nothing wrong with the update: No error reports on the Arcen forum, and there is an entry there, dated Saturday, saying that Steam customers have 1.022 already.

Human error? A weekend issue? In my mind, GOG should avoid any impression that Steam customers are better off than GOG customers.
Very late, but did you try updating via the game itself?

Is that not working or do you just mean there is no update on GOG's site?

I'm considering buying the game on GOG but updating games on GOG is a nightmare, does this game have a working autoupdate? I don't want to buy it here and be a month behind on patches compared to the Steam version.

It does. Pretty sure all Arcen games do. At least all the ones I've tried.

I fail to see how running an .exe is a nightmare though.

Edit: It got rid of my screenshot. Might be my internet can't handle uploading an image.

Arcen does update eventually on gog. The process isn't as simply as you might think. Besides, the game has it's auto update feature so I don't see you're problem.

Arcen did update eventually on GOG, yes. I simply didn't understand what the difference between GOG and Steam is (and we're not only talking about hours or one or two days, but that GOG left out 1 version update completely).

Regarding auto updates: Well, what do you think where the auto update comes from? Apparently, there is no general update server at Arcen's (as is the case for the other Arcen games, I guess), but something special has been set up for GOG customers, either at GOG or somewhere else on behalf of GOG. Fact is the game didn't offer me any updates.
Otherwise I wouldn't even have noticed that there is something amiss.

All of Arcen's games have the same update system. Why not ask Chris himself? I received a reply from him back when the game first came to gog about the whole beta version issue within the day.
I don't think it makes sense to take this further - 1.022 has been superseded by newer versions a long time ago.
For whatever reason: Steam customers did get 1.022, GOG customers didn't.
