Just wondering if this game supports small, widescreen netbooks... 1024x600 resolution would be ideal, but I might be able to live with 800x600. :-)
Also, does anyone know if my Intel integrated video (GMA 945 - 128MB shared RAM... yuk!) will be a problem?
Thanks!
Yes, it has 1024x768.

???????? Ummm.... OK. Thanks, I guess.... LOL
:-)
1024x600 isn't a standard resolution...?

The game will be slow as hell because of that card...I had the 256MB version of that card and the game ran like frozen molasses because of that particular bottleneck....

No, but I guess it's becoming a standard as all or most of the netbooks use it.

Really? I've just been playing around with other games, and I can run MS Flight Simulator 2004 and Grand Prix Legends (with all the High-Res graphical updates) fine. Maybe this game is a bit of a resource hog... that's too bad.

Not sure if it is the driver I have installed, or the game itself, but The Guild works with widescreen resolutions. The game won't render widescreen (you have black bars on the sides), but it also won't stretch.

Intel's GMA graphics cards are odd creatures to say the least. Some games will run fine on them others won't. In my own experience, the game ran alright but I noticed a big difference once I put the game on a different computer. I ran it on my computer now and it is so much faster (it has a 256MB NVidia 7300GS card in it).
