Quick question:
By any change, will be other languages added for The Guild
I played this game ages ago in German and I kinda want to get it in German for the nostalgia factor.
Thanks in advance

This has been brought up in a few interviews lately.

"What should be more interesting for European users is our plan to add new language versions of games. Right now we have all games available in English, but we will be adding new language versions."
I heard similar things in a podcast interview, seems that its coming eventually but only gog will know when.
Well so, saying they will add German for The Guild.. If I buy the game now, will I be able to download the German version later?

I would imagine so, you don't have to pay more or rebuy when they add extras to a game at the moment. I have to say it sounded like gog wants to do languages but from how it sounds it could take a while before that happens, especially with win7 support still needing to be added.

Yes, once you buy a game here you will always be able to download any additional versions posted without paying anything extra for it.
Also, just for kicks and giggles, I tried changing the game's language to German using the words "german" and "deutsch" in the game's configuration files and the game crashed after skipping the intros. I think the reason is that the game looks for various TEXTBIN_<language of choice> files. If you could get hold of a TEXTBIN_DEUTSCH file then you could, in theory, change the game's language to German using the game's config file.

I had a look as well, it needs the german sound effects as well in the sfx folder. Not sure what else is missing.

I also noticed a "Sprache_English" folder which contains the various voice files for the game's commentator.

Maybe asking support about the German sounds/text might get results?? No guarantee, though.
