Apparently the game installs no voice pack if you install in english and it has to be downloaded seperately. I can however find no option to do so anywhere.

So, for all GOG users who are missing the Polish dubbing:
1) go to your gog Galaxy app, click Installed games, right click on the Archolos game and select Manage installation ->Configure.
2) A windows opens where you chose language: Polish. An update is going to download (several GB, so wait).
3) When it is ready to play, go to your GOG Galaxy/Games/The Chronicles of Myrtana Archolos/Data and copy (make a backup) of the six KM_Speech1-6PL.mod files to your desktop.
4) In GOG galaxy app, click again Manage Installation -> Configure, select Language: English. (this time it will be very fast)
5) Move the six KM_Speech1-6PL.mod files from your desktop back to the Data folder.
6) Play the game with some epic slav voiceacting!

Is there any way to download the Polish version to my own hard drive, where I have downloaded the game?

edit: OK, I have already found it, you have to chose the Polish language version in the download options, which I missed earlier.

It would be good if the game would install the voices automatically, even when using the English version.

To play without it is so bad - there's almost no sounds on the deck, very atmospehre runing, imho

This also works with the offline backup files you can download. Just install the Polish version, copy the files, uninstall the Polish version and install the English version. You now have Polish language voices and English language subtitles.

The voices files are twice the size of the entire rest of the game. I can see why they decided to leave them out of the English download.

Considering how much work they put into it, that you miss on a ton of ambient sounds if you play without voices and the life it imbues into characters, I would have put the whole package together just like in polish tbh

But anyway, still waiting for the language pack if they don't wanna do that

Hey guys, we've already added a DLC with Polish voices in Patch 1.1. It should work out-of-box, just click the checkbox in GOG Galaxy or download offline installer if you use them.

Not sure about galaxy, but the offline installer is definitely not available. Already sent a message to support, sometimes GOG can take their sweet time with these things

Weirdly enough the main game is *always* up to date

From the looks of it, it seems like the DLC should be available to download from the store, and then you'd get that checkbox (or the offline installer)... but it isn't lol
