So I just finished the game and I'm quite pleased with the ending, but I feel one mystery remains:
Who exactly is this Ivy woman and why is her husband Joe torturing her so??
Is this scene some kind of lead to a sequel? Or an optional scene for those who refused to kill her earlier in the story?

Any information would be appreciated!
Also, sorry if this has been asked before. I did a search for "Ivy" but nothing came up.

They are characters from Remigiusz's earlier game - Downfall. The Cat Lady contains a lot of references to this game, not only those two characters. I played Downfall after the Cat Lady and only after that I was able to understand some parts of the Cat Lady like why the key for Joe's apartment was hidden in a cat figurine or why Susan said something about a missing cat whose name was Lucifer...

Thanks, I've just realized that the site I posted is not really good when I noticed that the Cat Lady is labeled as "under production"

Interesting! I just cast my vote, and I definitely hope GOG is able to add Downfall to their catalog at some point in the future, I'd love to check it out!!

Just in case someone else stumbles upon this tread, here is a link to the Community Wishlist where you can vote to request that Downfall be added to GOG: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/downfall_a_horror_adventure_game

And thanks, Ghorpm!

I'm working on Downfall awareness on GOG for some time :) Good to have someone by my side :)
But I'm not sure it it was ever submited to GOG...

Woops, sorry mate. I did a search for Ivy but didn't think to include Joe or Flat 3. Thanks for posting the link, though, as it gave me some greater insight!

Pleasure's all mine, friend! I'm new here, with relatively limited site knowledge, but I have a lot of free time and I'd be happy to help out in any way I can. Is there a specific way for us to make sure it gets submitted to GOG?

The only way I can think of is nagging Mark Lovrgrove (the publisher) until he breaks :) Then move to nagging GOG to accept it :)
For now you can enjoy some weirdness and insanity of the demo (but - spoiler - you won't be meeting Joe and Ivy there).

Hahaha, well I can be a pretty impressive nag! ;^) Just kidding, but I will definitely keep an eye out for potential voters to add to the Wishlist, and I just might go try out that demo. Thanks!
