I’ve noticed the steam version getting some updates. But there is no mention of this here on GOG.

I was just about to buy the game until I noticed this. The updates fix a few bugs, which is very important to have! Any idea whether the GOG version is fully updated?

Have no idea. One reason I'm here was to find out what version this was because It Does have Bugs.
I'm unable to progress into the game because of a buggy cut scene that freezes up.

I also got in on GOG, using the amazon games gift.

After installation, I could not run it, it always crashes before the game starts. Not freeze but a real crash.

yeah my game crashes too like i cant even run it for more than 5 minutes and it just closes by itself i dont get it... i need help :=((

Yup, same here. I have tried so many fixes. Nothing has worked.

They just released a new patch (1.05) on steam Oct 5th and it's a game-saver for players on Intel processors! The update focuses on eradicating a persistent bug that has been causing game crashes, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable gaming experience. So they hopefully fixed the crashes some are experiencing and hopefully that patch will be available on GOG shortly to help those with the crash issues.
