As the 4x99 berserkers is a one time deal, I`m at loss as to where is a good xp grind location.
Was SOOOOOO looking forward to the monstrous xp from those Zerkers :(.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
On the third floor of the catacoms, there is a fight with 69 Wights. If your AC is low enough, they can't hit, and one use of the Fire Horn or the Repel Dead spell (easy to forget that spell, but when it works it's stronger than Mangar's Mind Blade) should be enough to take them out. It's near the staircase, so it should be quick to get them to respawn.

This may even be faster than the berserkers.

Edit: Also, once you gain access to it, the first floor of Mangar's Tower is also good, and you can get some decent treasures there (including Frost Horns so you can keep using your Bard's breath attack).

You're welcome.

Also, there's a 68 Mercenary encounter early in Mangar 1; they die to a single Frost Horn usage and are near the entrance. (I don't know whether the Fire Horn is strong enough to wipe them out with one breath, but it shouldn't be too hard to get Frost Horns from that encounter.)

You found the 69 wights on level two of the catacombs? Yeah, beat those, then teleport to the stairway; head down to level three.

only fight the ghouls and wights near the stairway on level three. then go back up to the 69 wights on 2nd level.

One can teleport back and forth from that 69-wight-room to the stairway, then walk no more than 20 squares in those two 3rd-level encounters. I built up two nearly unstoppable teams and 11 million gold doing that (hoping I can import this party in the upcoming BT II). Now I'm revistiting Mangar's levels three and four, and loving the random encounters with 100+ Gimps! You cannot beat those for Exp Points!

Also, the 96 Samurai and 67 Samurai, as well as the 20 Ghosts and 34 Evil Eyes back and forth in Mangar's Tower (level one and two) will earn more points, once you are strong enough to handle that many samurai. The Dwarves and Kobolds and Mercenaries have lots of gold, but once you get more than you'll ever need, they really don't provide much Exp points
