Has anyone else seen more issues since the patch?

So far I've had an issue where huge black boxes appeared over my characters during battles, which was remedied by changing video drivers (I'm running an AMD card), but never saw this before the previous patch.

Another new issue I'm seeing after the patch is being unable to select the team members in the front row. In multiple battles I have been unable to select them, and then when it finally does it moves them to another square inadvertently, causing a couple frustrating deaths and lost time.

Starting to think I might wait for patch 2 to pick this one back up.

had a few glitches...
- for example after defeating mangar in kylerans tower his empty hitpoint bar remained on the screen until I changed location back to skara brae below (screenshot #1)
- on my way to the duke I ambushed some cultists, but instead of having them on the screen for first strike the enemy group seemed to be positioned BEHIND my party. Only the hitpoint bar with some pointer to behind the visible screen section came up (screenshot #2). had to surrender this fight because opposition did hit my party, but my people were unable to target the enemy... only the bard, firing his mug blind into the void - seemed to hit SOMETHING from time to time. but as I said, I had to surrender to last save ;)

Watch the terrain. I've found that to be reproducible if you stand on - or rush to, when clicking Charge to get first strike - normally impassible/unreachable terrain. Bit of a bother in the Eye Bleedingly Ugly Woods where you go a bit further on in the game, since there are so many doglegs and switchbacks with raised terrain to make sure you stick on the path.

Has anyone else seen skillpoints being "refunded"?
There are some abilities (esp. Disguise and Rabble Rouser) that don't stick - I spend a point on them and they seem to work, yet some time later the point is back and the ability is no longer taken.
Working through the forest past Skara Brae, I noticed when I levitate the shaman with the maul that does crazy damage, he rattles back and forth while he's being levitated. Other than that, I haven't seen any new issues, and I'm not sure if this one was introduced from the patch or was already there.

AMD RX-480 8GB Adrenalins 18.9.2, WIn10x64, and I have no such black-box problems to report with or without the patch--using Ultra settings @ 3840x2160. As far as what you report in your front row, I have noticed that sometimes you have to move the mouse cursor to make sure the grid square you want to move them to is highlighted before left-clicking. Sometimes that means moving the cursor around just above the square until it highlights--turns a bright, light blue. If you don't have that feedback on a move, and you click on the square without it being highlighted, the move--or the selection--just won't happen, and you will have to try again.

Make sure that you do not have a Trinket equipped with an ability that you already have--else the trinket ability will be used instead of your native ability, which I've found was stronger than what the trinket provided--so I moved that trinket to another in my party and everything returned to normal.

I think you missunderstood me. What happens is - I level up and have a new skillpoint to spend. I do so.
After some time (not sure what is triggering it tbh.) the hero shows up as having skillpoints to spend again, just as if he has leveled up again (which he hasn't).
If I check his/her skill screen (pressing K), I see that he has a free skill point and the ability I took earlier is gone.
That happens even when I spend some other point afterwards - I don't just get the last ability refunded, I get specific abilities refunded, e.g. Disguise or Rabble Rouser.

Yes, I did misunderstand--sorry...;) What I related, though, is the closest I've seen to seeing a Mastery incorrectly reported on the inventory screen, etc. No, haven't seen what you are reporting as well.

Just a suggestion, but you might want to rename your saved game folder and then reinstall the game--after which you delete the new savegame directory and rename your old one so that you can use it again, and take up where you left off. Good luck...game is a lot of fun once you get into it.

Don't worry, I'm having fun with it.
This bug is more of an annoyance anyway. Certainly less so than reinstalling. ;)
