28 hours of play time later, and the dark wizard falls. A wonderful romp through nostalgia and a great, if quite old, game.

And now... Months to go until the next instalment...
Yep... What a coincidence, he died on my computer today as well. Felt the same... I went back to beat him again, but alas, he is not there, just his minions.

I never played much of BT 2 back in the day. The graphics were a serious downgrade from the original imho, and it made the game a bit clunky. Hopefully, the remaster improves matters and makes the game more playable.
Yes Mangar is Mangled for me as well, My fav of the trilogy was BT3. Cant wait for the next one and of course BT4!

I preferred the Amiga versions far and away to the original CGA x86 BT I played before the Amiga versions shipped...;) As such, BT2 (Amiga) seemed to me to address most of the shortcomings of BT1 (Amiga). I remember preferring BT2, myself. At any rate, none of the old distinctions are at all applicable to these remasters, I'm glad to say!
Ah, now I understand. Can only kill set encounters once. No wonder on dis I was able to get to epic levels as I’d do manage runs day after day until my levels registered as **

Well damn! I suppose legacy mode you might be able to do this.

I can hope the developers continue to patch and develope the game and maybe add a new type BTCS to it to share with others as mods. I love old games getting a face lift. Hell, maybe they’ll even add options to use any graphic interface from different systems?

No matter what I’m relatively happy with it.
And Mangar died tonight in mine. The final fight was a bit of a let down. Each of the groups started at least 20 feet away, which I'm sure made it much easier than it should have been. My Bard used the Flame horn on the Greater Demons. My mages each cast MIFI on the Vampire Lords, and then three more MIFI on anything that was left over the next round. 300K XP and 300K gold at the end of the fight. I think my party was around LVL 39 or so, not counting the mages that went through their class changes.
