Any news as to when the BT4 Patch 1 will drop ?

Inxile sent GOG the patch before the weekend yet GOG hasn't got around to distributing it at all.

So far I am not happy with the quality of GOG and their Galaxy system and will be going back to Steam. The small saving is not worth it.

26 GB patch??? WTF...

Well I am still here because I paid for this game and I want to play it without all the crashing I have been having and hoping this patch will fix it.

Next game I buy won't be here on GOG as I just don't like the lacklustre way they release patches.

This patch is all on InXile - they opted not to use the patch channel system, and instead sent GoG a patch designed by InXile.

Why do people keep blaming GoG when teh developers refuse to use the tools provided?

That's because that is what it its. The whole game. inXile are not on the patch system so GOG has to work with what inXile send them. Send any complaints to inXile. The Steam version of the game had exactly the same problems. Look, I know you're upset that the patch wasn't here on Friday but get it into your head, this is NOT GOG's fault. This is the fault of a developer who has not gone over to GOG's patch channel. If you must keep complaining, complain to inXile.

This. Also, if for some unfathomable reason they don't want to move to the galaxy update thingie, ask them why they're releasing patches on a Friday, when they full well know it won't be processed by GoG.

if everybody just could relax and reflect (like "would I like my boss to have me work through all of the weekend, because someone else screwed up on his work"? or like "ok, this or that might take a day or two, BUT.... the philosophy -DRM FREE !!!!! ...cmon guy´s...

GOG did good

I wasn't complaing about the size I was just saying.

But I complain about the size. This IS a JOKE! This means 6 hours of downloading for me. And this means, no gaming for me tonight!

Yeah, I know, but it irks me the way people keep blaming GOG for other companies' faults. Not only that, they get told the facts but they stick their fingers in their ears and keep spouting the bullshit. They just want to complain for the sake of complaining. Like you say, throwing punches blindly. It's annoying.

Didnt complain about GOG just complained about the situation. And if i buy a game on GOG i have to complain in these forums here, because I'm not willing to create forum accounts for every game i own for every company that makes these games - but maybe i can shoot an email to inexile...thats perhaps a possibility.
