1. Which spot do you mean; do you have coordinates?

2. If you survive Sewers lv 3, you should be able do bring down the Grey Dragon as well. It depends on luck, though, as it's a very nasty enemy. Use Quick-Save. During the fight, try to cast MIFI and pray it's your turn before it breathes at the party.
In BT1, dragon breath is *nasty*; it can easily devistate any party that isn't strong enough to consistently save against it. (It also works well against enemies; you know that Fire Horn? Its breath attack is actually stronger than any general purpose mulit-target attack spell that existed in the original, and it's the *weakest* of the breath attacks available to the player.)

One thing that might help a bit is to play the Lucklaran (assuming it works in the version you're playing; it doesn't work in the DOS version, for example); that will boost your saving throws, making the battle a little safer.

Also, if you are trying to kill the statue that guards the castle, don't, at least not yet. Go to the Catacombs first and get some experience there. (This is espeically true if you're not playing the remaster; in the remaster, the status won't respawn, but in classic versions it does, so you need to fight the dragon again every time you want to go back there.)

Edit: If the dragon is a random encounter, you might want to consider choosing the "Run" option; failure won't cost you a round of attacks, and success will save you some grief.

At sewer lvl 3 there is a light beam coming from the ceiling that damage the whole party after that you find a magic mouth
that talks to you but my party doesnt survive the damage again.

1. There is a clue on an earlier level, "Pass the light at night." Wait for night, and the light won't be there. Yes, this is incredibly annoying in a game that has no way to wait for any specific time except morning.

2. The grey dragon is not a late game monster, but it's certainly not an early game monster either. Level 8 is much too low. You'll be able to handle it when you need to.

Step 1: Make sure you are playing Bard's Tale 3. If that is not the case, your rogue is not able to identify items. (I hear that the remaster lists the skill for rogues in 1; that's a mistake.)
Step 2: Has a rogue tried to identify an item and failed? If so, then that item can't be identified by a rogue, and you will have to wait until you learn a certain chronomancer spell.

If you are playing Bard's Tale 1 or 2, you will need to go to Garth's to identify items; you can't save money by using a rogue. (In BT3, Garth's is not present, hence why rogues were given this ability.)
