Hey all, I bought BT4 when it was on sale and I could have sworn that the page said that it would include the 2004 action-driven Bard's Tale. However, I looked just now and I noticed it's not only not there but the notice I saw on the BT4 page isn't there anymore either.

Am I going crazy or did they remove that before I made my purchase? Because I could have sworn that it said I'd receive the 2004 one for free. I have it on Steam and I don't plan to play it in the near future (eventually, though), so it's not a huge deal, but it's bugging me that I might be so out of it as to imagine something like that.

You are not crazy, there was at least 1 free game when I looked at it. My recollection was for the bards tale trilogy remake though.
The hard-to-read image on the BT4 Deluxe Edition shows that the BT Trilogy comes with it (2nd icon). I guess that finally explains where my BT Trilogy came from. It's not printed anywhere in the text that I can see, though.

There are two different versions of The Bard's Tale IV. One is standard edition which does not come with the free game and one is the deluxe edition which does come with the Bards Tale Trilogy.

Odd, I already had the remake but I didn't receive a gift code, sadly. Oh well, thanks for clarifying things!

I got the standard edition but I could have sworn they mentioned you'd receive a free copy of the 2004 game even with the standard version, kinda like how buying any Bethesda game gets you copies of TES Arena and Daggerfall for free.
