I just preordered Tesla Effect, but I am not seeing any mention of my free classic tex adventure download. Anyone have any input onto how that is redeemed?

Check your email receipt. It's likely in there.

Edit: From the pre-order page, and a special gift-code allowing you to redeem one classic Tex Murphy game of your choice will be sent to you via e-mail by the end of the week.

So GOG sent an email saying it would be here by the end of the week. It is now Saturday and no go. Hmm, they must be quite busy lately, as they've always been so prompt with everything in the past.

Check your spam and contact support if it is not there, it should have arrived together with your purchase confirmation mail.

Have you checked the mail that came as order confirmation? Right under the confirmation should be a message that says something like "Here is a gift code...". I have missed that one first too. :)

I wanted to ask how being "Gifted" a copy of Tesla Effect relates to the additional game. Will I get access to an additional game or will my friend who got the game for me as a gift?

I understand they already got their free Tex Murphy game for their own purchase of the title.

I'd like to have one, but I don't mind if my friend gets the extra one - but neither of us getting one is a little sad.

Your friend (who gifted you) should have gotten the code for the extra Tex game in his mail receipt. He can naturally give it to you as well if he desires.
