Hey guys,
Just got Tex 1/2, I did my now usual scheme of uninstalling DOSBox 0.73, to install the 0.72 version (since the installers can't detect 0.73 yet), which has worked on all my games thus far. I tried running the games on 0.72, and it doesn't seem to be working correctly. I tried 0.73 as well, and that didn't seem like it was configured right. (Games were barely runnable.)
Anyone else have this problem? Should I just install DOSBox 0.72 to the independent Tex folder? I kinda like centralizing everything...
Thanks!

Well, that's how i did it and everything worked fine.(XP SP3)
Have you tried the graphic mode setup tool for each of the games or doesn't/wouldn't that work since you have all DOSBox stuff centralized ?

Wow, changing graphic modes really did help performance. Thanks!

No problem. I'm glad it worked out.
Thought the tex games came with 0.73 instead of 0.72

Might've came with it, but I specified my original DOSBox installation folder (Program Files\DOSBox), and it said it was an outdated version.
Does this (working under Dosbox) mean it will work (contrary to what it says in the system requirements) on any OS Dosbox runs on?
(thanks)
yes. you might need to edit configuration file though to convert windows style path to linux/mac os paths

Great. Thanks a lot. I'll try it out. Would be great to play one of my old favorites again.

What graphic mode did you choose that worked out?
