Cant get newer drivers for this card as nvidea has apparently stopped supporting it : ( I've set the game up in my Nvidea control panel and my on board video is disabled in the bios so I only have the one video card running it and I've installed the correct directX . Still no go : (

Man, that sucks.

Good news is that graphic cards which barely fill the system requirements are cheap these days. But naturally if you've got money it's wiser to buy better graphic card instead of one which is already old.

I just checked and the 7950GT card is AGP, which means it is really old. All newer cards are PCIe, which means he'll need a new system, not just a new GFX card :(

sbenrap: I'm totally willing to upload the demo to some file host (2GB of storage is required), do you have a preferred one?

PimPamPet: Wouldn't it be easier to just torrent it?
Maybe, but this is easier for someone who doesn't use torrents.
I put the demo up here:
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/bxt2177id19sa/Tesla_Demo

I've included an sfv file to verify the download was successful.
Good luck!

Oh! I stand corrected.
I tried the demo with my system (Geforce 9500, 3GB RAM) and the game worked fine. Even on high quality, not as smooth as on medium graphic settings, but still playable.
Now I can't wait for the release...
I tried to run demo on XP (2 GB RAM) with Pentium D 3.4 & ATI 9600 Pro (AGP with 128 MB) but all I got was black screen. Guess I'm out of luck :-(.
Ah..well - I haven't even play other Tex games..Mayby it's time to do this

I have a similar setup, but am now running Linux Mint - hoping that the old games will at least get Linux compatibility treatment...

I also have somewhere in my desk ATI 9800 PRO and NV 9600 GT but truth to be told it's too much fuss to try them to run the demo. But one of these days I'll check it.

Speaking of Linux - I've just discovered Puppy Linux - installed it on my wife's old laptop - damn - IT BOOTS FAST (I guess it's twice as fast as clean XP SP3 on the same hardware)!

Aside from fast booting, my laptop frankly works better than it ever did with XP on it. I was prepared to wipe it and dispose of it until GOG announced Mint support - so now it has been brought back to life and works great. I know I won't be playing anything new or modern on it, but I'm very hopeful that older games will be given the Linux port so I can continue to enjoy them.

Perhaps it's too much to ask, but could you please (please, please) try running the game with NV 9600 GT? For some reasons beyond my understanding the game just won't load, I've exhausted all the software solutions that came to mind, now I'm trying to rule out configuration incompatibility.

I'm terribly sorry but I will not be able to help you anytime soon. Maybe you should try to post in the General Discussion section - more people visits it that game-specific sub-forums.
