I was a backer, and this morning I received a Steam code for the game. I thought it was going to be a GOG code. Is this a mistake, or will we get the GOG code later?

I emailed Big Finish, but still haven't heard anything back. I just wanted to see if any of you have had anything similar happen.
So we are getting both Steam and GOG codes?
I too sent them an e-mail asking about this. Steam, ick, I never touch the stuff.

But I have yet to get a reply, anyone else with info on this?
Just got a reply:
"I understand.
We are delivering the Backer Codes through Steam.
But the delivery is DRM Free, and does not require Steam to be running or even installed to play.
I'm sorry, but there is no plan I am aware of to issue GOG codes.

WTF?!!
Did they ever promise GOG codes, or just DRM free versions?
In this case, they should provide drm-free installer, without steam.

ps. I'm VERY disappointed, because i have all the Tex games on gog, not on steam

As am I, I hope there is a lot of feedback like this from others so BFG doesn't forget about their GOG backers!

because it DRM free it allows you to copy the steam apps folder to another pc , you just need to install it first.
think of steam as a downloading platform only. You can even backup the file to dvd .

I appreciate this aspect of steam as you have explained it, but my preference was GOG to keep all of my games in one place. May be nitpicky I'd agree, but still my preference.
