I am just so happy finaly a new FMV games release soon.Not just any game. Its TEX Muprhy one of my favorite games of all.. I heard Tesla Effects its big vry big . Its 2-3 TEX murphy games on one game. Also including 5 diff ending ,2k resolution,and more !.

I hope we see many more FMV games in he future. Finaly can we play FMV games on FULL HD resolution with 5.1 sound.

I share your excitement, specifically for a new Tex game. I hope that if Tesla Effect is profitable that it will inspire other publishers to take note that a game with this type of quality and craftsmanship can be successful in today's gaming market.

I hate to admit it, but I have yet to play ANY of the Tex Murphy games, despite having bought them all on GoG at one point or another.

Gotta say though, this game looks AMAZING! I love the fact that they kept the FMV in the game. It's got a look that combines professionalism with a cheesy feel to it and it looks like everyone had a lot of fun making it.

So how are the previous Tex games? How many hours does it take to complete each one on average? Do they have ridiculous puzzles that will force me to read walk-throughs to finish?

You should play 3 last TEX Muprhy,Pandora,Overseer,Under The killing moon. 1st and 2nd TEX Muprhy is not good if you ask me.

How long time to beat it is variate. You can choice 2 diff difficult level. 1st is only 1500 points 2nd is 4000 points = more puzzle and locations. Time to beat is well let see about 5-10hour eac tex murphy game. If you do rushing and know all locations,puzzle etc you can beat it like 1-2hour.

Cant wait Tesla Effect release this month !.

the puzzles arent too difficult, under a killing moon is mostly object manipulation puzzles (using objects on stuff in environment kinda like monkey island, broken sword etc) where as pandora and overseer also have object manipulation but also some logic myst/7th guest type puzzles which i find kinda annoying but i dont think their as difficult as myst/7th guest!

I agree with the others, start from UAKM then proceed through the series. The games themselves are not overly hard, but are enjoyable. First time play throughs will vary on length depending on how many hints you use. Even all of these years later, I still find the games quite fun and memorable - I'm playing through them again getting ready for Tesla Effect.

If you already own them, there is no reason to fire them up and enjoy the experience.

Per BFG - if 20,000 total folks view the trailer, they will release it in full uncompressed 2K w/ 5.1 surround sound.

Dude: Its 2k resolution and sound 5.1 even if not get 20.000 views trust me.

And where you read that if video reach 20.000 views we get uncompress 2k and sound 5.1 i tough we get it anyway.
