I'm having a problem solving Sals note found outside the Brew and Stew. I put the pieces together, combine in with the note from francesca, and change the letters to the correct ones. Then nothing happens. All letters are red and correct, but for some reason the game will not go on. Does anyone else have this problem or am I missing something?

No you need to solve the letter first. otherwise you wouldn't know that you had to go the golden gate hotel, You need to find something in the warehouse to trick arney .

I am having this exact problem. I have correctly solved the coded letter, I have the Inspector Burns mask and outfit. However, I cannot travel to the Hotel because it does not show up on my map. I have tried several times (exiting, restarting the investigation, etc.) but no luck. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Maybe you simply need to walk there (it's at the end of the street). Not sure if you can travel there from the map unless you've visited it first.

from memory you can't travel until you have been there first.

Okay, I am almost ashamed to say this, but there really is not problem at all. This is 100% operator error. I kept looking in the travel map for it to turn up. But my dumb ass didn't realize IT WAS AT THE END OF THE STREET! Thanks for the help guys!

I was going to suggest to you that you should be quite close to it so why do you need to travel, don't worry we have all been in the same boat in one way or another.
