There's a 300 MB patch coming for Tesla Effect. Steam already has it now its GOG'S turn : )

Good to hear. The question remains, will we need to re-download the entire 15gb version 2.0.0.9, or will it work with 2.0.0.7 ?

On Steam it is ~250MB download, usually GOG first provide a standalone patch (~250MB too I assume) and later on update the main executable to include the patch content (so no, you will most likely not have to re-download the entire game :) )

Thanks, but I meant if we need the already uploaded 2.0.0.9 version of the game. They updated that a day after releasing the original 2.0.0.7 version.

I'm pretty sure 2.0.0.9 and 2.0.0.7 are identical (9 version was simply better compressed) since BFG provided only one version to both GOG and Steam.

Ah, I see. Thanks. Lets hope that patch fixes the soundbugs, I haven't even touched the game yet because of that.

I know some work was done on the sound of Chandler Ave. and some have reported it helped them, I'm hoping it will work for you as well

C'mon GOG, release that patch! I'm stuck at the Titan Reactor and its driving me crazy.

At this point I wouldn't expect a patch before Monday.

Here is the info from kickstarter about the patch -

We have begun uploading our first patch. With Steam, the patch and fixes will be immediate. We are unsure on how long it will take the patch to work for GOG users. The changes and fixes include, but are not limited to:

a. Italian translations! Tesla Effect is now available in Italian.

b. Changes to the French, German and Spanish translations. We submitted a portion of our ‘Strings’ document to be re-edited by our professional linguists.

c. The rotating Crypt / Tomb puzzle in Sesen had tested the Frame Rate for several users. The art has been updated, and the amount of dynamic lights has been decreased. That area will run much faster now.

d. The problems with the: Magnetic Resonator puzzle and the River Crossing Puzzle have been fixed.

e. The Sound Effect Files have been added to the Final Puzzle.

f. The cooling rods in the Titan Reactor have been fixed – some users found the ability to interact with them from incredible distances.
